When we brought 217 Newland Street on the Highland Park real estate market a month ago, it was the cheapest home for sale in all of Highland Park at a price of $299,000. It was also move-in ready, having just been flipped by an investor, and had a new kitchen and bath, central air and heat, new flooring and paint, and fresh landscaping. This caused a lot of excitement with home buyers and we quickly received offers, ending up with 13 total. We closed escrow yesterday with a final sales price of $365,000.

1522 N Avenue 45 was only on the Eagle Rock real estate market for a short time before we put it into escrow. We received four offers and negotiated the final sales price to $577,500 – 17% over the asking price of $499,000.

The seller converted the 1929 duplex into a lovely single family home with new kitchen and baths, new flooring throughout, fresh paint, and more. The large, flat yard provides plenty of room for gardening, entertaining, and has a one-car garage with attached studio. Clearly this was just what buyers are looking for!
